Michael D. Cousar has been in the insurance industry for 28 years. He began his insurance career with The Paul Revere Insurance Group in Atlanta, GA as a Disability Income Insurance Broker Representative. He is now back in a similar position with Consolidated Planning as a DIS.
Michael is a father to 4 children and he has been married for 26 years to Carrie Davis Cousar, MD. They live in Anderson, SC and enjoy time on Lake Hartwell. Michael has a passion for helping others. He has founded a non-profit for underserved children to have the opportunity to participate in athletics and he is an Elder in his church and served on the board for a local orphanage.
In his spare time, Michael really enjoys following the Auburn Tigers!
